The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, December 14th, 1945, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Healy, Commissioner Lovve, City Manager Quinnell and the Clerk, when the
followin.p' proceedinp.;s were had to-wit:
.The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the minutes be approved as read, and trie motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy and
Commissioner Lowe; those. voting No, none.
Reports
The followin~ reports for the month of November 1945 were presented and read:
Plumbing Inspector
Chief of Police
It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the reports be
accepted and ordered filed, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote;
those voting Aye being Mayor Healy and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
Applications for City Licenses
The applicatiom of.the Oaks for a City license and a City Beer and Liquor License were
presented and read. It was moved by Commis~ioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Healy that
the applications be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the
following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy and Commissioner Lowe; those
voting No, none.
The applications of Joe Toohey for a City Beer and a City Liouor License were presented
and read. The Manager reported that in talking with the Chief of Police regarding the above
applications, it was thought that action .on these applications should be deferred for a
week or two to give the Chief time to have a talk with this proprietor regarding the con-
duct of his business, and it was thereupon moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Com-
missioner Healy that the above applications of Joe Toohey be taken under advisement and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those vo ting Aye being Ma yor
Healy and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
. moved by Commis ~doner Lowe, s'econded by Commissioner Healy tha t the meeting adjourn and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor
Healy ~and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
