HomeMy WebLinkAbout1945-04-13 I I I 91'9 f.oI" :,' Bozeman, Montana April 13th, 1945 The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Friday evening, April 13th, 1945, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being present were Mayor Landoe. Commissioner Healy, Commissioner Busch, City Attorney Aitken, City Engineer Thorpe and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had to-wit: The minutes of the last regnlar session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Busch that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe, Com- missioner Busch and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Report The report of the Cashier for the month of March, 1945 was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Busch, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the report be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Busch a'nd Commissi oner Healy; those voting No, none. Applications for City Licenses The following applications for City Licenses were presented and read: A. C. Durand H-H Meat Market Gallatin Lumber Company J. ,T. McCay It was moved by Commissioner Busch, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the applications be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the following aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Closing for Roosevelt's Memorial Services It was decided that out of respect to the late President Franklin D. Roosevelt that the flag from the City Hall should fly at half-mast Saturday and Sunday and that all city on Saturday, April 14th, employees should oease work from the hours of 1 P.M. to 2 P.M./ except the policemen and firemen on du ty. Adjournment There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Busch that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe~ Commissioner Busoh andCommissloner Healy; those voting NO, none.
