Offer to purchase old fire escape An offer of Mr. Fred Williams to purchase the old fire eSCape on the north side of the ci~ hall was considered and it was decided that it would probably be unwise to dispose of this equipment as it might be useful in removing prisoners from jail cells on the second floor or in clearing the court room in case of fire.
