'l'hey expla ined the t in order to have a com- plete and balanced band for the show, bandsmen will have to be brought from Butte at con- siderable expense; but that if the City of Bozeman cOlJld pay $250.00 for a concert to be played on or near Main Str~et, August 17th, 1944, in connection with the parade, it wOllld be possible to have a band for the show, and as the show is a community affair and the proceeds are used for the community activities of the Jaycees throuahout the year, it was thought that the City could give them this aid. After consideratior by the Commission, it was decided that the band concert should be played and a claim filed in the regular manner for the public service rendered.
