The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, December 8th, 1944, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Healy, City Manager Quinnell, Director of Finance
Walter Davis, and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Healy, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe, Commis-
sioner Healy; t~ose voting No, none.

Applica ticn 'for' ca ty Beer & Liquor License
Applica tions from "The Stockman" for city Beer and Ci ty Liquor licenses were presented
and read. It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Mayor Landoe that the applica-
tions be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the following Aye
and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No,
none.
Resolution No., 551 -- Delinquent Taxes
The Manager stated that a resolution certifying delinquent taxes, in the amount ofl
$3575.61, to the County Clerk and Recorder and to the County Treasurer, as of November 30th,
1944 at 6 o'clock P.M. had been prepared. He presented and read Resolution No. 551,
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSIm:r OF TBE CITY OF BOZEMAN DECLARING CERTAIN
SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AND INSTALLMENTS OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS, DUE AND PAY-
ABLE NOVEMBER 30th, 1944, AND UNPAID AS OF THAT D,il,TE, AND CERTAIN OTHER SPECIAL
ASSESS~mNTS AND INSTALLMENTS OF S~;CIAL ASSESSMENTS, DUE A~m PAYABLE NOVEMBER
30th, 1944, AND UNPAID DEL INQ,U1!:NT, AS PROVIDED BY ORDINA1WE NO. 594, ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING POR THE COLLECTION OF TAXES xx xxx xx, AND THE
COLLECTION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS, xxx xx xxx, II AND SECTION 5251, POLITICAL
CODE, R.C.M. 1935.
It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the Reso-
lution be passed and adopted and the motion was carried b y the following Aye and No
vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.

It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Mayor Landoe that the reports be ac-
cepted and ordered filed andthe motion was carried by the follOWing Aye and No vote; those
voting Aye be~ng Mayor Landoe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
Communicstions -- Airport B08rd
A communication from the Airport B08rd was presented and read, thanking the Commis-
sion for their support and co-opera tion wi th the Airport Bond issue.
A COmnnlniCR tion from M. E. HendeIroJ,former Ci ty Manager, sending the season's gree t-
ings was also presented and read.
The minutes of the last meeting of the Recreation BOArd were read, stating that the
opera tion of the ska ting rinks would be substantially the same as las t year.
Traffic.
The City Attorney rep::lrted that traffic violators were not reporting to the Police
Court when traffic tickets were issued to them. After discussion, it was decided that in
order that the tickets do not lose their effectiveness, a notice should be published

stating that violntors must report within three days after the date of issue of the
traffic tickets or a warrant will be issued for their arrest.

There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
moved by \Jommissioner Healy, seconded by Ma:'or Landoe that the meeting adjourn and the
motion was csrried by the fo~lowing Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe
