The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in reVJlar session in the Commission
Room, City Hall Building, Friday evening, December 22nd, 1944, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Those being present were Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Hea.ly and Commissioner BuSCh, City
Manager Quinnell, City Attorney Aitken, and the Clerk, when the following proceedings
were had to-wit:
The minutes of the la at regnlar s es sion were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Healy, seconded by Commissioner Busch that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe, Com-
missioner Busch and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
Application for City Licenses
The followin~ applications for City Beer & Liquor Licenses for 1945 were presented
and read:
The Oakes
Harrison & Apgar
and the appliea tion of the Park Coca Cola Bottling Company for 1f-year Beer License for
1944, and the applica tion of the California Company for a City Business License 'for
1945 were also presented and read.
It was moved by Commis sioner Busch, seconded by Commis "donor Healy tha t the appli-
ca tions be approved and the licens es i sSlJed and the motior. was carried by the following
Aye and No vote; those votingAye being Mayor Lendoe, Commissioner Healy and Commissioner
Busch; those voting No, none.
Communication -- Public Employees Retirement Ass'n.
A comwunica tion was read from the Public Employees Retirement Association calling
attention to proposed legislgtion for a retirement system for the employees of the
State of Montana and such cities and counties as may elect to be included in the plan.

There being no further bus iness to come before the Commis sion a t this time, it was
moved by Commis s ioner Healy, sc;conded by Commis sioner Busch tha t the meeting adjourn and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor
Landoe, Commissioner &lsch and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
