The Commis sion of The City of Boz ema.n met in regular session in the Comrni asion Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evelng, April 21st, 1944, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. ~'hose being
present were Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Healy, City Manager Quinnell, City Attorney Aitken,
Director of Finance Walter D~B, City Engineer Thorpe, and the Clerk, when the following
proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Healy, seconded by Mayor Landoe that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe and Commis-
sioner Healy; those voting No, none.
Examination of Depository Bonds
The Director of Finance presented copies of the Depository Bonds held as securities
for the City's deposi ts in the various City banks. The se copies were checl{ed, by the
Commission, with the Custodian's Receipts of the bonds, and found to be as stated.
It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Mayor Landoe that the list be approved
and incorpora ted in .full in the minutes and the motion was carried by the following Aye and
No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lsndoe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.

the provisions of Section 4~67, Political Code, R.C.~~. 1921, as amended by Lihapter 49, Laws
of 1929, and as amended by Chapter 23, Extraordinary Session Law of 1933-34, have this day
examined the receipts of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis for the Depository Bonds
held by the Director of Finance as above listed as security for the deposits of City Funds
held by the several banks of Bozeman and find them to be as above stated.

The applica tion of the Geo, En,p'lish 'l'in Shop for a Ci ty License was presented and read.
It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Mayor Landoe that the application be ap-
proved and the license issued and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote;
those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe end Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
AWWA Annual Convention
Ci ty Mana p:er Quinnell sta ted that the Mon tana Section of the American Water Works
Association is to hold its 19th Annual Meeting here in Bozeman, May 5th and 6th; that
the City's share in the expenses of the convention would be approximately $200.00.
It was moved by Commis s loner Heal y, seconded by Mayor Landoe the t, it be ing in the
puhlic interest, $200.00 be appro'l.Ted for the expen8es of the AWWA Convention to be held
here May 5th and 6th and the motion WaS carried by the following Aye and No vote; those
m ting Aye being Mayor L8ndoe and Commissioner Healy; those v oting No, none.
