The Commission of The Ci t~T of' Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening July 7th, 1944, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being present
were Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Healy, Commissioner Busch, City Manager Quinnell, City At-
torney Aitken, Director of Finance Walter Davis and City Engineer rrhorpe and the Clerk,
when the following proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commis8ioner
Healy, seconded by Commissioner Busch that the minutes be approved as read, and the moticn
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; th08e voting Aye being Mayor Landoe, Commis-
sioner Healy and Commissioner Busch; those voting No, none.
Claims for the month of June
Claims Nos. 6584 to 6'740 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows:
CemAtery $ 1,309.60 Cemetery Suspense 220.00
General 6,719.82 W -H Tax 605.38
Library 559.53 War Bond Fund 150.00
Park 1,260.84 $
Water 1,883.35 Total 13,567.66
Garbage 859.14
Claims Nos. 128 to 143 inclusive in the amount of $727.41 against the Nursery School
(FWA Project No. 24M5) were presented. The Manager stated that he has audited these claims
and finds them to be true and lawful olaims against. The City of Bozeman and recommends the t
warrants be drawn for their payment. After examination of the claims in detail by the
Ci ty Commiss ion, i.t was moved by Commis sioner Busch, seconded by Commis sioner Heal y tha t the
claims be allowed and warrants be drawn for their payment and the motion was carried by the
following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Busch and
Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
Application for City License
The appllca tion of the U. S.. Rock Wool Sales Company for a one-half year Ci ty- License
was presented and read. It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Busch
that the application be approved and the license issued and the motion was carried by the
following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Landos, Commissioner Healy and
Commissioner Busch; those voting No, none.

The following reports for the month of June, 1944 were presented and read:

Water Collector
Cashier
Engineer
Police Judge
Fire Chief
City Manager's Quarterly
Report
It was moved by C:omm.iss.t onAr Healy, seconded by Commis sioner Busch tha t the reports be
accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote;
those votj.ng Aye being Mayor Landoe, Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Healy; those voting
No, none.
Adjournment
There being no further busine~s to come before the Commissioners at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Busch that the meeting a djourn and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor
Landoe, Commissioner Busch and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
