HomeMy WebLinkAbout1943-07-09 I I I ,4,B Bozeman, Montana July 9th, 1943 The Commission of The City of Bozeman met,in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Friday evening, July 9th, 1943, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being present were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson, Director of Finance Walter D~~is, City Engineer Thorpe and the Clerk, when the followin? proceedin~s were had to-wit: The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor B"sch that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, and Commis- sioner Sorenson; those voting No, none. Reports The following reports for the month of June were pre8ented and read: City Engineer Cemetery Board Employment Officer State Board of Health Water Anal"y~1s It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that the reports be accepted and ordered filed & the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor BuSCh, Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none. Delega tes to League Meeting It was announced the t City Manager Q,uinnell and Ci ty Attorney Ai tken had gone to Eu tte to attend the Montana Municipal League meeting. It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that it being in the public interest that the expenses of the City Manager and the City Attorney to attend said Municipal League Meeting, July 9th and JulylOth, be paid from the General Fund, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none. Comnmnic'1 tion W & C 1943 A communication from Mary Ellickson, 505 North Church, relative to the repair of sidewalk in front of her property was presented and read, stating that the walk and the curb ordered repaired was damaged by the City crew when a tree was removed from the park- ing, and that the walk should be repaired by the City without cost to her. It was decided that the City Engineer should look over the walk to determine how the walk is damages and what would be necessary to put it in good order. Ad j ournmen t There betng no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by, the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.
