The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in rRgular session in the Commission Room,
Ci ty Hall Building, Friday evenj.ng, August 6th, 1943, at 7 :30 0' clock P. M. Those being
present were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson, City Attorney Aitken, City M~na~er ~uinnell,
Director of Finance Walter Davis, Cit~T Engineer Thorpe and the Clerk, when the followinR
proceedings were had to-wit:

The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch the t the minu tes be approved as read, and the motion
was carried by the followinp Aye and No voto; those voting Aye being Mayor BUSCh, Com-
missioner Sorenson and these votin~ No, none.
Report C PA Audit
Mr. C. E. Coulston, C. P. A. was presAnt with copies of his a1..1diting report covering
periods of from January 1, 1942 to July 1, 1942 ,and from July 1, 1942 to July 1, 1943,
which he presented to the Commipsion for examination. Mr. Coulston explained the more
important parts of the work and answered questions concernin~ the same.
It was moved by Commis ~doner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch the t the report be
accepted and ordered riled and the motion was carried by the f011owin? Aye and No vote;
those voting Aye belnR: Mayor Busch, and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.

Cemetery -- Ordinance Providing for Uniform Care
The Mana~er presented the rough draft of an Ordinance providing for the collection
of assessment for uniform care of lots in the Sunset Hills Cemetery for use in cese where
parties have not arranged with the Ci t~T for the p0rmanent care of their lots. It was
l'111&'"P'ested thnt the matter be taken lmder advisement for f1.1rther study by the Commissio~".
The Manager stated that the proposed Ordinance had been approv0d by the Cemetery Board.
R~solution No. 530 -- Tax Levy
The MansP'er presentRd Resolution No. 530, setting the tax levy for the fiscal year
ending June 30th, 1944, with the total mill levy the same as laAt year. Resolution No.
530, entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THR COMMISSION OF TEE CITY OF BOZEMAN DET~RMINING THE
AMOUNT OF CITY TAXES FOR ALL PUR POS-SS, GENERAL AND SPECIAL, TO BE LEVIED
AND ASSESSED ON TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, STATE OF MONTANA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING, JUNE 30th, 1944.
was then read. It was moved by Commismoner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that the
