The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
Cit~T Hall Building, Friday evening, August 27th, 1943, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe, City Attorney
Aitken, City Manager Quinnell and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the minutes be approved as read, and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch,
Commissioner Sorenson and Commissiorer Landoe; those voting No, none.
Release of Bond
The Manager stated the bonding company would like to be released from the Gas Fitter's
and Master Plumber's bond of the Bozeman Plumbing and Heating COMpany as the Company no
longer operates its business in the City.
It was moved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the bond-
ing company be released from liability for the Bozeman Plumbing & Heating Company from and
after the date of its suspension of operations in Bozeman and the motion was carried by
the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch, CommiSSioner Landoe and
Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.,
Resolution No. 531 -- Accepting Offer of USA -- Child Care
The Manager presented and read the offer of $3~715 by the United States of America
for its share of the maintenance and operation costs of the war-time child care facilities
at Beall Park for the period of from May 1, 1943 to October 31, 1943. After due consideration,
itwas noved secondedand unanimcualy carried 'that said offer be and the same is hereby accepted.
The Manager also presented and read Resolution No. 531 accepting the said offer of the
United States of Am~lca.
It was moved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the Reso-
lution be finally passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and
No vote; those voMng Aye being Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe;
those voting No, none.
Ad.1ournment
There being no further business to come before. the Commission at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the meeting adjourn
and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor
Busch, Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lando6; those voting No, none.
