The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Friday evening, September 17th, 1943, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being present were Commissioner Landoe, Comm.1ssioner Sorenson, City Manager Quinnell, Director of F~nanoe Walter Davis and the Clerk when the following proceedings were had to-wit: The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Landoe that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those votlng Aye being Commissioner Landoe and CommisSbnsr Sorenson; those voting No, none. Resolution No. 532 ~- Certifying DellnMuent Taxes The Manager presented and read Resolution No. 532, entitled: A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT ASSESS~mNTS DELINQUENT AND DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO CERTIFY THE SAME TO THE COUNTY TREASURER FOR COLLECTION. Director of Finance Walter Davis, explained that the County was going to make appli- ca tion for a tax: deed to certain properties and in order to have this year's assessment imcluded in the tax sale, that these assessments should be certified now; that at the regular time for certifying delinquent taxes there would be a question as to whether the 1943 assessment should be included in the taxes cancelled and included in the sale price or if they should be paid by the purchaser, similar to the case the City now has pending in the SupreMe Court. After discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Landoe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson the t the Resolu tlon be passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye beingCo~1ss1oner Sorenson and Commissioner Landoe; those voting No, none. Nursery t>chool The Manager stated that a wire to the Regional Attorney in Berkely inquiring_as to the status of the Nursery School Project had been sent , but as yet no reply was forth- coming. Adjournment There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by CommissionarLandoe, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the meeting adjourn, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Commlsmoner Landoe and Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.
