Bozeman, Montana
October 15th, 1943
The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Friday evening, October 15th, 1943, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being
present were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson, City Attorney, Aitken, City Manager
Quinnell, Director of Finance Walter Davis and the Clerk, when the following proceedings
were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch and
Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.
Post-War Planning Board
The Mayor asked that the following organizations be requested to name one of their
members as a representative on the City's Post-War Planning Board:
Parent-Teachers Association
Junior Chamber of Commerce
Trades and Labor Council
Business & Professional Women's Club
Rotary Club
Kiwanis Club
Chamber of Commerce
The Mayor etated further that as Boon as word had been received from these civic
organizations, the Board would be appointed.
Curfew Ordinance
The matter of enforcement of the Curfew Ordinance was discussed, and it was agreed
that the present ordinance should be amended so as to make parents liable for violation
of the ordinance by their children.
Armory
The Manager stated he had questioned Rev. Chastain in regard to use of the Armory
Drill Hall on October 31st by the Jaycees for a children Hollowe'an party, and Rev. Chas-
tain had replied tha t their advertieing had all been printed and tha t therefore they would
not like to interrupt their program as planned except in a case of emergency.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that the meeting adjourn, and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch,
Commissioner Sorenson and ItihoB'e'~vbtltng No, none.
