This being the time for the regular scheduled meeting of the Commission,none of the
Commis sioners but Commissioner Sorenson was present. Aft(~r wai ting a reasonable time,
Commissioner Sorenson announced the meeting ad.1ourned until Tuesday, December 28th, 1943,
at 7:30 o'clock P.M.

The Commi~sion of The City of Bozeman met pursuant to the adjournment of December
24th, 1943, in the Commis~ion Room, City Hall Building, Tuesday evenin~, December 28th,
1943, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Those being present were Mayor Busch, Commissioner Sorenson,
City Attorney Aitken, Director of Finance Walter Davis, Commissioner-elect Lowe, and the
Ac ting Clerk, when the .follow ing proceedings were had to-wi t:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Busch and
Commissioner Sorenson; those voting No, none.
Fire Insurance
Mrs. C. Lee Donaldson, speaking in her own behalf, stated she had not been present
a t the Comm1.s sian meetlng when the fire insurance on the various ci t;T buildinCTs was ap-
portioned, and that she does not feel she has been alloted as large a share of the
insurance as other agents. She ask the Commission to reconsider this matter, but dlle to
the fact that the City Manager was not present, the Commission did not feel they should
take action until the matter had been dis"Oussed with City Manager Quinnell.
A committee representlnp" the Bozeman Insurance Association, composed of G. C. Waite,
Chairman, E. L. Heidel and Harry Stith, stated the Bozeman Insurance Association had drawn
up new forms for the one-fifth flre lnsl1rance wh1.ch comes d1Je on January 1st, 1944. Mr.
Waite stated further there had bAen additlnnal insurance sU~ITested which the City should
carry such as $500.00 insurance on the Softball Park and fire insurance on the records,
maps and documents of various kinds which are kept ou ts ide of the f ire -proof vaul ts .
The City A ttorney asked the. t he be furnished wi th a copy of the new form to at1J1dy and
compare with the old form. The Committee stated that unless the matter was acted on at the
present meeting, it would be necessary for the aR:ents to issue proper binders and forward
them to their companies so that the insurance would be continuous. No action was taken
by the Commission.

The followinp applications for City Licenses were pre~ented and read:

It was moved by Commis ~:lioner Sorenson, seconded by Mayor Busch the t the applica tions
be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the followtnp: Aye and No
