Improvement of Ditch South of Ci~
The Manager reported on some discussion with representatives of the Milwaukee Railway regarding
a ditch to take care of the spring run-off south of the City.
While this would be a project on lands owned by the Milwaukee Railroad and Paul Dudley, which
are outside the City Limits, proposed work would be to improve drainage conditions and safeguard
1
against floods in the Ci~. It waS, therefore, a project which should be undertaken jointly by the
above owners and the City. The City Eneineer was instructed to investigate this matter and formulate
plans under which the required work ce.n be carried on on a cooperative basis.
