M. Those being present were Mayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe. Commissioner Healy. Captain C. V. Saunders, City Attorney Lovelace and the Clerk. when the following proceedinGs were had: I The minutes of' the last regular session were read. and it was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by COrInnissioner Healy that the minutes be aI,proved as read. and the motion was carried by the f'ollowing Aye and No vote: those votine; Aye being Mayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Urging SUI'lort of Slot Machine Bill Mr. Dan Kilbride, proprietor the Stockman Bar. was present to urge the City Cmrunission to wire Legislators of Gallatin County to support H. B. No. 138, "Slot Machine Bill". No action was taken on the matter. Request to Build J,;useum in Lindley Park Mr. Roy Border. Mrs. George Graham and Nelson Story III. representing the Gallatin fioneer Society. appeared bef'ore the Corrnnission to discuss the question of the City of Bozeman f'urnishine; ground in Ljndley Park as a location for a Museum. Since no details had been worked out as to the erection, operation, or maintenance of' the proposed Museum it was suggested to these representatives that they draw up and present a proposal in writinL on which they might take some def'ini te action. DeleGate of 2ecreatiOll CJnference It was announced that the Northwest Division of the National Recreation Association would meet in - I Missoula. Montana. March 31st, April lst and 2nd, 1949. It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Healy that it being in the public interest that Arthur F. Bland. Recreation Supervisor, be authorized to attend the meeting and that his expenses be paid f'rom the Park Fund and the motion was carried by the following; Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Sorenson. Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Rer orts The following reports for the month of January, 1949 were presented; Ene;ineer, Employment Officer. Director of Finance. It was moved by Commissioner Healy. seconded by Conwissioner Lowe that tile rerorts be acceI/ted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the followine; Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Sorenson. Commissioner Lowe and Corrunissioner Healy; those voting No, none. I It was rr~ved by Corrunissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the afplications be afproved and the licenses issued and the motion Vlas carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Sorenson. Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those votinG No, none. Adjourrunent There beinc no f'urther business to come before the Commission at this time. it was moved by Corrnnissioner Lowe. seconded by Commissioner Healy that the meetinc adjourn and the motion was carried 210 by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being; Mayor Sorenson, Corr@issioner Healy and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
