M. Those being ~resent were Mayor Sorenson. Commissioner Lowe, Commissioner Healy. City Manager Henderson, City Attorney Lovelace and the Clerk. when the following; rroceedings were had: The minutes 8f' the last reGular session and of the special session held February 15th. 1849 were I read, and it was moved by Commissioner Lowe. seconded by Commissioner Healy that the minutes be apFroved as reed, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being M8.JTor Sorenson, Corfuuissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those voting; No. none. Report The report of the rlumbinc Examiner for the month of' January, 1949 was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Lowe that the rer,ort be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the followinc Aye and No vote: those votinG Aye being Mayor Sorenson, Connnissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Resolution No. 640 -- Intention to CreatE-;l S. I. D. No. 354 The Manager stated that the Ci ty Attorney as instructed has prepared the Resolution of' Intention to create Special Improvement District No. 354, street improvements on North Grand f'rom Lamme Street to Tamarack Street. S:t.,illwQY at Mystic Lake Dam The Manager reported on the annual meetinr: of the Bozeman Creek Reservoir Company which he attended on :F'ebruary 22, 1949 representing; the City of' Bozeman. He stated that action was taken at that meeting to employ an engineer to prepare plans and specifications for a new spillway at Mystic Lake dam. No action was taken relative to actual construction of such a sf,illway but it was con- sidered that a first step must be to have adequate plans prepared from which to secure an estimate of cost of the pr oject. Bids on Dump Truck Further consideration was Given at this time to bids received at the last regular meetinc to furni sh the City one dump truck. The bids having been tabulated and a close sLudy havine; been given to the various trucks on which bids had be(m received. it was considered that the DOdge. Model J-152, truck best suited the use expected to be made of it. The net f rice bid on th:i struck was $3.094.90 with an additional cost of *,185.00 if the truck is furnished with a two speed rear axle. It was moved by Commissioner Hea.ly, seconded by Commissioner Lowe, thGt the bid of Rolfe & Mast to 'I furnish the City a Dodge, Model J-152, dump truck. equipped as shown in their bid to include a two speed rear axle. at a total net cost to the CHy of' $3,279.90, be accefted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
