adding the design phase services for the Durston and Ferguson Roundabout.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize City Manager to sign Amendment No. 3 with Robert Peccia and Associates.
BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy of the partially executed Amendment No. 3 with Robert
Peccia and Associates for the Durston and Cottonwood Road Improvements Project. The document is in the City’s standard format.
The original professional services agreement for the project only included the predesign task. That task compared the installation of a roundabout and a signal at the intersections and provided
the corridor buildout recommendations. This amendment is to add the design phase services for
the installation of a roundabout at the Durston Road and Ferguson Avenue intersection. This was the option that was approved by the Commission for this intersection during the predesign phase. The final recommended cost is reasonable and commensurate with the work involved..
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission
FISCAL EFFECTS: $124,000.00 from the Street Impact Fee and Arterial and Collector District Funds.
