'rhe Commission of 'rhe City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commiss ion Room,
City .tiall Building, Wednesday afternoon. December 22nd, 194.8, at 1:00 o'clock P.M. Those
bei.ng present were llJIayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, Commissioner Healy, City Attorney
Lovelace, and the Clerk. when the following proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the last reg'J.lar sess ion were read, and it was moved by Commissioner I
H.ealY, seconded by Commissioner Sorenson that the minutes be approved as read, and the .
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vo te; those vat ing Aye being Mayor

Commissioner Lowe entered and was noted present
Ordinance No. 749 -- Regulating Aircr~ft advertising
The City Attorney as instructed prepared the ordinance regulating the operation of
aircraft withi~ and over the City of Bozeman. Ordinance No. 749 was presented, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF' 'ItHE Crry OF' BO:.2;EMAN, MJN'rANA, RELA'rING TO AND REGGLA'rING
THE OPERATION OF AIRCRAFT WITHIN AND OVER THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY, UNDER THE POLICE PO-NEROF trHE Crry, PRESCRI3ING ROLES AND REGULA-
TIONS FOR SUCH OPERA'rION, AND FIXING 'rEE PENAL'I'IES FOR VIOLATION DB' 'I'~IS
ORDINANCE
It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the ordinance
be passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those
voting Aye being Mayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those voting
No, none.
Reports
The following reports were presented: I
Director of Finance for October and November, 1948.
Nursery School for November. 1948.
It was moved by Commissioner Healy. seconded by Commissioner Lowe that the reports
be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was cBrried by the following Aye and No
vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy;
those voting No, none.
Report on Constructio~ of Sewage Treat~ent Plant
Mr. Fred Quinnell, resident engineer for the sewage treatment plant, was present
and reported on the progress of the construction of the plant, and discussed means of
obtaining a longer retention period for the treated effulent.

'rhere being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the meeting adjourn and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor
Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Healy; those voting No. none.
