Matsen to SWMBIA - Ordinance 1922 Affordable Housing Targets R07FMANMT Community Development June 20, 2017 Linda Revenaugh Executive Officer SWMBIA 1716 W. Main St., Ste. 8-G Bozeman, MT 59715 Dear Linda: Thank you for your letter of June 12, 2017 regarding the targets set out in Ordinance 1922 (as revised by Ordinance 1954) for the number of affordable homes constructed and sold in Bozeman between February 5, 2016 (the effective date of Ordinance 1922) and June 12, 2017. In order for the City to determine whether the goals stated in Ordinances 1922 and 1954 have been met, we need some additional information for each home sale, including: 1. The number of bedrooms in the home; 2. Confirmation the home is a single household detached dwelling or a townhome; 3. Confirmation the home is owner-occupied; and 4. The actual sales price. Because the developers of the homes listed in your letter did not apply to the City for incentives under Chapter 38, section 43 the City does not already have this information in its records. To verify the information for numbers 3 and 4 above, an affidavit signed by the homeowner will be necessary.
