The Commispion of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
Ci tv Hall Bui1dinr-., Wednesday afternoon, JanwH'Y 14th, 1948, at 1:00 o'cloCk P.M. Those
being presont were Mayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, Commissioner Healy, City Manager
Fendey'son, City Attorney Lovelace, and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had:

Report on Recreation Board Meeting
City Manager Penderson reported to the COMmis s ion regardinG a special mee ting of the
Recreation Hoard held January 13th, 1948, when representatives of various service organ-
izations met with the BORrd to d is C1~s s en1ploymen t of a full- Un'S supervisor to co-ordinate
tbe recreational programs within the City to best utilize all facilities. };o recommenda-
tiom'! were made by the Recrca tion 130rlrd pendinp: securin7 information from other cities
on recreation pro~rams and secDr-tn(! f~l ther in fa rma tion from Bozeman City Schools on the
pos s i bill t1 es of a combined City-School recreation program.

ReqlJest for Band UniformE!
A letter from Bud Henke, Manager of the Bozeman Municipal Sand, requesting the C1 t;,
to purchase uniforms for the members of the band to cost approximately $2,100.00 was read.
After discussion, the matter was taken under advisement.
Insurance on City Buildings
I The matter of increasing the Amount of Fire Insurance on Ci ty Buildings because of
the increase in replacement costs was discussed. The ManaGer was ins truc ted to secure
further information for disC1JSsion of this matter at the next rer-ular meeting of the
Commlssion.
