I write you today in the hope that your vote on April 3rd on the Black Olive project is a vote to
protect the old neighborhood that Homebase cares so little about. The design board was correct
to reject this project. Homebase was asked several time to come up with something appropriate
to the location and all that came back each time was a cement box with a few surface designs.
I am not a native, but after 5 years in Bozeman I feel it is my home. My first home was a city,
and I know the nightmare of poor planning that so many cities fall into. As Bozeman grows we
trust to your considerate care that it grows correctly and is not just a cash cow for developers to
build and run, creating a mess that we then have to live in.
Please respect us, your community, and not allow this to happen under your watch.
