The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Mond.ay morning, January 5th, 1948, at 10:00 o'clock A.M. Those being
present were Mayor Healy, Commissioner Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, City Manager Henderson,
I and the Acting Clerk when the following proceed.ings were had:
The minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Sorenson, seconded by Commissioner Lowe, that the minutes be approved as read, and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Healy,
Commissioner Sorenson and Commissioner Lowe; those voting No, none.
Organization of Commission
The Manager stated the purpose of this meeting was to complete any unfinished business
of the retiring Commission and for the organization of the new Commission.
Section No. 5448 of the Revised Codes providing for this meeting was read. There
being no unfinished business of the retiring Comn1ission, retiring Mayor Healy turned his
chair over to Commissioner Sorenson who took his seat as the new Mayor. Commissioners
Lowe and Healy, having been regularly elected at the City Election held November 4th,
1947, took their seats as the new Commissioners.
Oaths of office and bonds of the newly elected Commissioners, having been properly
executed, were approved and accepted.
Adjournment
I There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was
moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Comnlissioner Healy, that the meeting adjourn,
and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being
Mayor Sorenson, Commissioner Lowe, and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
