RECOMMENDATION: Approve the City Manager Recruitment Process Timeline as
discussed.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to approve the City Manager Recruitment Process
Timeline as discussed.
BACKGROUND: Ron Holifield, CEO of Strategic Government Resources (SGR) submitted a
timeline for City Manager recruitment.
Thursday, June 29 or sooner – profile finalized and search launched.
Thursday, September 7 – Triage Briefing One in closed executive session to review overall
candidate pool and narrow the field to semifinalists.
Monday, September 25 – Triage Briefing Two in closed executive session to review semifinalists
and select finalists. Three hour meeting.
Date TBD (depending on availability of panelists and candidates) Interviews of finalists (all names
will be public).
Dates will be adjusted if the profile is approved prior to June 29.
