Present were Mayor Lowe, Commissi orler Erwin, Commissioner Swanson, City ManHCer Henderson, City Attorney Lovelace, and the Clerk when the following proceedings were had: Minutes of the last regular session were read. It was moved by Commissioner T~rwin, seconded by Com- missioner Swanson that the minutes be approved as read, and the motbn was carried by the following Aye I and No vote; those voting AYe being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Erwin ~md Com.:nissioner Swanson; those votinE No, none. Applications for Beer & Liquor License The following alrlications for city beer and city liquor licenses wer,; presented: Park Bar Rocking R Top Hat It was moved by Commissi oner Swanson, seconded by Commissiou:~r '''~rwin that the applications be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the following Aye and l~o vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Erwin and Commissioner Swanson; those voting No, none. Final Passage R solution No. 784 . W & C 1954 Assessment I'> This being the time and r1ace set for the hearing on the final adoption of the resolution levying assessments for the construction and/or repair of sidewalks for the year 1954, the affidavit of publication of the Notice was f;resented. Bids on Aerial-Ladder Truck The Manager stated this wns the time and place set for the opening of bids on an Aerial-wdder Truck for the Fire Department. He presented the affidavit of pub licntbn of the Notice to Bidders. The bids were referred to the City Manager and the :F'ire Chief for a tabulation, study, and recommendations. Resolution No. 785 __ Truck By-Pass on Federal Aid Urban System The City Attorney, as instructed, has prepared a resolution requestine; that the location of a truck route for the City of Bozeman, as Jroposed by the State Highway Commission, be designated as a portion of 455 the Federal Aid Urban System, and Resolution No. 785 was presented. entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZJ<:I\Uili, MONTANP., REQUES'l'ItW THAT 'EnE LOCATION OF A TRUCK BYPASS ROUTE ON THE NORTHSIDE OF THE CI1Y OF BOZ'fi;MAN AS PROFOSED BY THE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF MONTANA BE DESIGNATED AS A }'ORTION OF TH1~ F~DERAL AID URBAN SYSTSM It was moved by Commissioner Erwin, seconded by Commissioner Swanson that the Resolution be passed and ad::>pted, and the Mayor and City Engineer be authorized to sign the mal- aI-proving the proposed location I of the truck route mlo the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner E~in and Commissioner Swanson; those voting No, none. R..ports The reI,ort of the j'lumbing Inspector for the m::>nths of October and November, 1954 were presented. It was moved by Commissioner Swanson, seconded by Commissioner Erwin that the reports be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; H.ose voting A,ye being Mayor Lowe, ':'ommissioner Erwin and Conunissioner Swanson; those voting No, none. Request of Montana Power to Install Gas Pump on Street Area Denied The request of the Montana Power Company. as presented at the last reeular meetine, to ins tall e gas pump in the street area at their warehouse at the corner of Mendenhall mld Ida Avenue was oonsidered. The City Attorney reported that Ordinance No. 623 of the City of Bozeman I-rohibits any obstructions in the street area. It was moved by Commissioner Swanson. sec0nded by ~ommissioner Erwin that the request be denied. and the motbn was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lov\'e, Commissioner hrwin and Commissioner Swanson; those voting No. none. Adjournment There being no further bus iness to come before the Commiss ion at this time. it was moved by Lommis- I sioner Erwin. seconded by Commissioner Swanson that the meeting adjourn, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, ~ommissioner Erwin and Commissioner Swanson; those voting No, none.
