The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room. City Hall
Building. Wednesday afternoon, January 12. 1955 at 1:00 o'clock F. M. Present were Mayor Lowe.
Commissioner Erwin. Commissioner Swanson. City Manager Henderson and the Clerk. when the following
proceedings were hed:
I Minutes of the last session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Swanson. seconded by
Commiss:i oner ~rwin. that the minutes be arr:roved as read. and the motion was carried by the following

Gas & Plumbing Bond - Reber Plumbing & Heating Co.
The Plumber's bond and Gas Fitter's bond of the Reber Plumbing and Heating Company was presented.
It was moved by Commissioner Swanson. seconded by Commissioner Erwin. that tiie bond be 8l-f,rOved and
accepted. subject to the approval of the Ci ty Attorney, and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Erwin. Conunissioner Swanson; those
voting No. none.
Expenses Authorized to Legislative Committee Meeting
It was announced the Leg;islative Committee of the Montana Municipal League would meet in Helena
on January 13th. 1955. It was moved by Commissioner Erwin. seconded by Commissioner Swanson. the t the
attendance of ih e City Manager and the members of the City Commission be authori zed and their expenses
be paid from the General Fund, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those
voting Aye being Mayor Lowe. Commissioner Erwin, Commissioner Swanson; those voting No. none.

The following reports for tIle month of December. 1954 were presented:
Fire Chief Cashier Recreation Director
and the annual report of the Chief of Polic e.
It was moved by Commissioner Erwin. seconded by Commissioner Swanson. the t the reports be
accepted and ordered filed. and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those
voting Aye being; Mayor Lowe. Commissioner Erwin. Commissioner Swanson; those voting No. none.
Application for Wholesale Beer Licem,e
The followinz arplications for wholesale beer licenses were },resented:
Valley Distributing Company Fark Ice and Cold Storage
(paid under protest)

approved and the licenses issued. and the motion was carried by the followinG Aye and No vote:

Bills Due City of Open Account
The City ManaGer diseussed with the Commission a list of balances cue the City for various
services and material. The ManaGer was instructed to take such innneiliete action as is necessary to
I collect any and all of these balances that are past. due.
Bids on Fire Truck
Wm. Penttila, Assistant Fire Chief' and Jack Huber, FiremHn. relorted to the Com:nission on their
investi.e;ation of fire trucks in Billings m d Helena. Pids on fire trucks were discussed further. and
action was deferred pEndinG receipt of addi ti anal information.
