This being the time designated by law (Section 11-3249, R. C. M. 1947) and Section
6 of Ordinance No. 524 for the organization of the City Commission in accordance with
the results of the Regular Municipal Election held November 3rd, 1953, the City Commis-
sion met at 10:00 o'clock A.M., January 4th, 1954, in the Commission Room, City riall
Building for organization purposes. Those present were Mayor Secor, Commissioner Lowe, I
Commissioner Erwin, Commissioner-elect Healy, City Manager Henderson, City Atrorney
Lovelace and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had:
Minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Erwin. seconded by Comrnis s i')ner Lowe that the minutes be appr oved as read, and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor
Secor, Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Erwin; those voting No, none.
Retiring Mayor Secor turned his chair over to incoming Mayor Lowe, and Commissloner-
elect Healy took his place as City Commissioner.
After appropriate remarks and aCknowledgements by the City Commissioners, it was
moved by Commissioner Erwin, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the meeting adjourn
and the motion was carried by the fOllowing Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being
Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Healy and Commissioner Erwin; those voting No, none.
