SUBJECT: Workshop on draft UDC

The purpose of the June 6, 2017 joint Zoning Commission and Planning Board
meeting will be to continue evaluating and discussing the draft Chapter 38 revisions
to the Unified Development Code (UDC).
The draft code was presented to the Boards at the May 16th joint meeting. Members
of the Zoning Commission and Planning Board requested staff list the primary
changes being proposed and develop examples to illustrate those changes. Staff is
developing examples for the Zoning Commissions and Planning Board to evaluate
the changes with. The examples will be in presentation format.
Staff has begun developing the content at three public workshops focusing on
neighborhoods, design, and planning and engineering content areas respectively.
