Present were Mayor Secor, Commissioner Lowe, Commissioner Erwin, City Manager Henderson, City At- torney Lovelace and the Clerk, when the following proceedIngs were had: 1 Minutes of the last regu18r session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Erwin seconded by Mayor Secor that the minutes be a ':lDroved as read, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Secor, Com.mi 3~3 ioner Lowe and Commissioner Erwin; those voting No, none. ProlOO 3 e d r!lunic~ i -;Jr' I Levi s 1 ri t im Di s c us sed Senator Dokken and Representatives Sales, Purdy and Chaffin were present to discuss with the City Commission proDosed legislation affecting municipalities which wi 11 be brought up at the forthcoming session of the state legislature. Bids for SIn )61 Material City Engineer Waldorf presented the tabulation of the bids for the material to be used in the construction of Special Improvement District No. )67, and made the following recom- mendations: That the bid of the Pacific States Cast Ir;)n Pipe Company in the amount of $7,789.26 for pipe be accepted, That the bid of the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Gompany for seven valves instead of six at a total price of $668.50 be accepted, That the bid of the Pacific Water Works Supply COr.1pany for eight fire hy- I drants instead of seven at $250.00 each, flanged at the ground line .,,, .'.,,' ~t no additional cost be accepted. It was moved by Commissloner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Erwin that the bids as recommended by the City Engineer be accepted, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those votins Aye being Mayor Secor, Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Erwin; those vo ting No, none. Eeport The report of the Director of Finance for the month of November, 1952 was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Erwin, seconded by Commissioner 1..o.:e thHt the report be ac- cepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and Novote; tbose voting Aye being Mayor Secor, Commissioners Lowe and Erwin; those voting N'), none. Pm-'chese of P,=Jr)-::ing; Meters A proposal from the Dual Parking Meter Company to sell parking meters at $69.50 each to be paid for from revenue colle cted in the meters was read.
