SUBJECT: Action Item - Application for Allocation of Cash-in-lieu of
Parkland Dedication Funds for Oak Meadows Subdivision
Park
The Homeowner Association of Oak Meadows subdivision has submitted an
application for the use of $102,600 of cash-in-lieu (CIL) funds for
development of the subdivision’s park. The 2.1994-acre park was dedicated in
2009 in addition to a CIL contribution of $102,600.
The proposal includes play equipment and site furnishings typically found in a
neighborhood park. The total estimated cost of the project is $160, 034. The
HOA is proposing to make up the difference with a combination of cash and
in-kind contributions.

Recommended Motion:
Having considered all information presented and public input received to date,
I hereby move to recommend that the City Commission approve the allocation
of $102,600 from the cash-in-lieu of parkland dedication account to the Oak
Meadows Subdivision park improvement project.
