The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in special session, pursuant to call, Fri day afte r-
noon, May 2, 1952, at 1:00 o'clock F. M. Those being present were Mayor Secor, Commissioner Lowe,
Commissioner Erwin, City Manager Henderson, and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had:
Transfer of Funds from S. 1. D. Revolvin6 to General Fund
This meeting was called to consider transfer of certain funds from the Special Improvement I
District Revolving Fund to the General Fund and was called as a special meeting as required by
Section 11-2273, R. C. Montana, I 947 .
Director of Finance Shadoan reports that there is a balance, as of April 30, 1952, in the Special .
Improvement District Revolving Fund of $9,423.54. He also reports that there are cash surpluses in
various Special Improvement District Funds in the approximate amount of $~2, 750.00 which will be
transferred to the Special Improvement District Revolving, Fund at thi 5 time. He further reports
that additional surFluses will accrue in various Special Improvement District 'Funds within tria
next five years amountin(': to aprroximately $8,000.00 which wUl be transferred to the Special Imrrove-
mBnt District Revolving F\md.
There is outstanding, as unpaid balances on the City's share of the cost of co~struction in
SpeciAl Improvement District No. 350, $900.00. in Srecial Improvement Lighting Distri ct No. 361.
$6.675.96, and Sf'ecial Improvement Lif"htjnr District No. 362, $1,613.70, a total of $9.438.33
principal and accrued interest.
Director of' F'inance Shadoan recommends that $9,400.00 can be trl'lnsferred from the Special
Improvement District Revolvin~ Fund to the General Fund at this time and still leave ample ba19nce
in the Special Improvement District Revolvini", ,hmd to meet any foreseeable need in that fund and I
th8.t, when such transfer is made. the City can pay its outstandinr; balances in S. I. D . #;~ 50 ,
s. 1. L. D. #361 and 8. 1. L. D. #362.
It WAS moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Erwin, that there be transferred
from th e Srecial Improvement District Revolvin{", Fund to the General Fund the sum of Nine thousand
four hundred Dollars ($9,400.00) and the motion was carried by the f'ollowinr~ Aye and No vote: those
voting Aye being Mayor Secor, Commissioner Erwin ano Commissi.oner Lowe; those votinf" No, none.
Adjournment
There beinv no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by
COlllmiss ioner Erwin, seconded by Comnissioner Lowe, the t the meeting' adjourn and, the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote: those votinp; Aye beint Mayor Secor, Commissioner Lowe
and Commis s ione r Erwin; those voting No, none.
