The Commission of the City of Bozeman ut in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall
Building, Wednesday afternoon, June 4, 1962 at laOO o'clock P. M. Present were Mayor Secor,
Commissioner Lowe, Commissioner Erwin, City Manager Henderson, City Attorney Lovelace, and the Clerk
when the following proceedings were hada
I Minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded
by Commissioner Erwin, that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion was carried by the follow-
ing Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Kayor Secor, Commissioner Erwin and Commissioner Lowe;
those voting No, none.
Group Medical Insurance
Mr. Tom McCusker, New York Life Insurance Company representative, appeared before the
Commission and discussed a group udical insurance plan for city employees whereby the City of
Bozeman would pay a portion of the monthly premium, and the balance of the premium to be a salary
deduction and paid by the employee.
Mr. MoCusker was asked to get information from his cOmpany relative to costs of suoh a plan so
that it could be considered by the City ComDdssion.
Budget for 1952-63
A general disoussion of the budget for the fisoal year 1952-53 was had.- Salary adjustments
and shortening of the length of the work week as requested by members of the-_~Cilioe and Fire Depart-
ments were presented and considered.
Annual Audit
I A communioation from C. E. Coulston, CPA was presented, stating he would be interested in making
the annual audit of the City this year, and the cost would not exoeed the charge paid last year for
the audit. It was moved by Commissioner Lowe, seconded by Commissioner Erwin, that C. E. Coulston be
employed to make the annual audit under these terms, end the motion was carried by the following Aye
and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Seoor. Commissioner Erwin and Commissioner Lowe; those
voting No, none.
Claims for the MOnth
Claims Nos. 3806 to 4007 inclusive were presented on the various funds as followsa

I The Manager stated he has audited these olaims and finds them to be true and lawful olaims
against the City of Bozeman and recommends that warrants be drawn for their payment. After examine. tion
of the claims in detail by the City Commission, it was moved by Commissioner Lowe. seoonded by
Commissioner Erwin. that the claims be approved end warrants drawn for their payment and the motion
was oarried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Secor, Commissioner Lowe
and Commd.sioner Irwin; those voting No, none.

The following reports for the month of May, 1952 were presented:

It was moved ~ Commissioner Erwin. seconded by Commissioner Lowe, that the reports be acoepted
and ordered filed end the motion was carried by the following Afe and No vote: those voting Aye
being Mayor Secor. Commissioner Lowe and Commissioner Erwin; those voting No, none.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by
Commissioner Lowe. seconded by Commissioner Erwin. that the meeting adjourn and the motion was I
oarried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Seoor. Commissioner Lowe and
Commissioner Erwin; those voting No. none.
