HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-01-02 93 Bozeman, Montana January 2nd, 1952 The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday afternoon, January 2nd, 1952, at 1:00 o'clock P.M. Present were Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor, Commissioner Healy, City Manager Henderson and the Clerk, when the followlng proceedings were had: I Minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Secor that the minutes be approved as read, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Claims Claims Nos. 2754 to 2911 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows: Band $ lS.OO Cemetery 518.32 Cemetery Permanent Care 10,000.00 Garbage 1,472.94 Gener~l 11,630.29 Library 877.56 Park 2,602.00 Parking Meter 1,717.89 Police Reserve 86.15 SDS Revenue 4,230.49 Water 3,297.46 Total $ 36,448.10 The Manager stated he has audited these claims and finds them to be true and law- ful claims against 'rhe City of Bozeman and recommends that warrants be drawn for their payment. After examination of the claims in detail by the City Commission, it was moved I by Commissioner Secor, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the claims be approved and warrants drawn for their payment, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye be-Lng Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Applications for City Licenses The following applications for City Beer Licenses were presented: Retail License Club License Top Hat Safeway Store Elks Lodge Park Bar Baltimore Hotel Crystal Bar Wholesale License Earl 'rucker and the following applications for a Ci ty Liquor License: Park Bar Top Hat Crystal Bar Baltimore Hotel Elks Lodge It wasnoved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Secor that the applica- tions be approved and the licenses issued and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Reports I The following reports for the month of December, 19.51 were presented: Fire Chief Water Collector Police Judge and the annual report of the Police Judge. It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Secor that the reports be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried-by the following Aye and No vpte; those voting Aye be~ng Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commis s ioner Healy; thos e vot ing N~, none. Ad,journment There being no further business to come before the Conunission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Secor, seconded by Commissioner Healy that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried; Commissioners Lowe, Secor and Healy vot Aye. oting No, none.
