The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall
Building, Wednesday afternoon, Seltember 12, 1951, at 1:00 o'clock f. 1.:. Fresent were Mayor Lowe,
Commissioner Secor, Commissioner Healy, City Manager Bellderson, City Attorney Lovelace snd the Cle rk

Minutes of the IE, st reguler sess ion were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded
by Commissioner Secor, that the miI".utes be 8.11roved as read and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote: those votinG Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those
voting No, none.
Continuatiorl CertHicate -- Gas & Flumbing Bond of K. J. Stimson
The cor!tir;uation certificates of K. J. Stimson of the McCay Hardware for a bond as Gas Fitter and
F'lumber were rresented. The certificates were approved as to form by the City Attorney. It was moved
by Comrr.l.issioner Secor, seconded by Commissioner Healy. that the certificates be af'l--roved and accel,ted
and the motion was carried by the following; Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being; Mayor Lowe,
COHuniss ioner Secor and Commiss ioner Healy; those voting No. none.
Claims
Claims Nos. 2085 end 2086 were r.-resented as follows:
s. D. S. Revenue Fund $1,830.69
Water Fund 708.00
The Manager stated these were true and lawful claims against the City of Bozeman and recommended
that warrants be drawn for their payment. After examination of the claims, it was moved by Comlnissioner
Healy. seconded by Commissioner Secor, that warrants be drawn for the :payment of the claims and the
motion was carried by the following; Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner
Secor and ComrnissionElr Healy; those voting No. none.
Water Service for 1502 South 1/Jillson
The Manager rerorted that Mr. Lester l'hompson, 1502 South Willson. has made application for an
addi tional water service for the r,urpose of watering 1 ivestock curing; the winter months. This property
is outside of the city limits but because of the fact that the city's main water sun1y line crosses
this property, the present dwelling has water for domestic use, and the master meter is also located
on this I!roperty, sr eeial consideration was Si ven to the request. It was moved by Corrunis siOEer Healy.
seconded by Commissioner Secor. that permission be e.;ranted for this service. provided the use be con-
fined to winter months and the service may be discontinued at an;)' time uf;on a 90-day notice. and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, COlrunissioLer
Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting No. none.

A1-1-1ication for Transfer of Beer & Liquor License
The aF)::lication of E. A. McNamara for the transfer of the beer and liquor license of' Iv!. H. Lee,
211 East Main, was I,resented and rea.d. Action was deferred pending receipt of evidence of transfer of
the state license and for further investigation.
