The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room,
City Hall Building, Wednesday afternoon, December 26th, 1951, at 1:00 o'clock P.M. '1'hos8
being present were Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor, Commissioner Healy, City Manager Hen-
derson, and the Clerk, when the following proceedings were had:
Minutes of the last regular session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner
Healy, seconded by Commiss ioner Secor that the minutes be approved as read, and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; thc)S e voting Aye being Mayor
Lowe, Commissioner Secor end Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
Revaluation of City Property far Fire Insurance
A new schedule of valuations for city property for fire insurance purposes was pre-
sented and checked by the Commission. It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by
Commissioner Secor that the City Manager be authorized to submit a sworn statement to
the Fire Rating Bureau setting forth these valuations to secure a new approved rate
for insurance and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote; those voting
Aye belng Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none.
Applications for BaBr & Liquor Licenses
rrhe following applications for beer and liquor licenses were presented and read:
Beer:

Stockman Bar
American Legion
A & E Market
Liquor:
Oaks
Stockman Bar
American Legion
It was moved by Commissioner Healy, sec)nded by Commissioner Secor that the anpli-
cations be approved and thelicenses issued and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote; those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, CommiJsioner Secor and Commissioner
Healy; those voting No, none.
Montana Po~er Sub-station on North Eleventh Avenue
The Manager reported the Montana Power Company has made verbal inquiry regarding
a permit to install a temporary sub-station or transfor'mer yard on area platted but
not opened as Eleventh Avenue near Durston Road. The ground proposed to be used would
be approximately thirty feet long by twenty feet wide. The power company represents
that they plan to build a new sub-station in the northeast part of the city and the
proposed station on Eleventh AVE;lnue will serve only until the new permanent station is
built. After .consideration, the Commission instructed that, upon receipt of written
application from the Montana Power Company for perrnit to make this installation, the
City Attorney prepare an agreement between the City and the Montana Power Company to
cover the proposed installation and to include a provision that the premit may be can-
celled by the City of Bozeman at any tLne.
Sound System for City Jail
The Commission expressed approval of the purchase of a inter-communication system
to be installed between the City Jail and Police Department Headquarters.
