July 5, 1951 at 1:00 o'clock f. M. fresent were 1:ayor Lowe, GOlOlllissioner Secor, COlTh'1lissioner Healy, City Manager Henderson, City Attorney Love18Ge, and the Clerk when the following Froceedings were had: I Minutes of the last regular sessiOll were read, an6 it w:s moved by Commissioner nealy, sec'Jy"ded by Commissioner Secor, that the minutes be arrroved as rend, end the motioG was carriec by the followinc Aye and No vote: tlose votins Aye being Mayor Lowe, COlJunissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Claims for the Month Claims Nos. 1349 to 1599 inclusive were rresented on the various funds as follows: Airport Band Cemetery Cemetery Perm. Care Firemen's Relief Garbage General Library Park farking Meter Police Reserve S. D. S. Revenue S. 1. D. Vi-H Tax Water W & C 1951 (Bonds) $; 2,000.00 629.80 1,954.00 90.00 5,224.57 1,541.21 14,705.78 1,165.57 3,179.51 1,404.84 86.15 2,786.48 567.80 1, 3f34 .49 4.546.96 1, 300 .00 Total $42,567.16 The Manager stated he has audited these claims and finds them to be t rue and lawful cl(cJirns I against the City of Jozeman and recommends that warrants be drawn for their rayment. Rearrangement of Lot 13, Block 30, N. F. Addition Mr. Dave DsLar rresented a proposed Rearranger:lent of Lot 13, Block 30. Northern Pacific Addition which wes examined by the City Conunission. Be stated that he plans to construct a small office build- ing; on this property and asked permission to cut the curb for a driveway to the buildinG and also cut the curb for North 3uttonwood Avenue. After consideration, it was moved by Conunissioner Secor, seconded by Commissioner Healy, that the rearrangement be tentatively n~rroved, and permission to cut the curb as requested be granted, and the motion was carried by the followinG Aye ar.d No vote: those voting Aye bejng Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting No, none. Rerorts rhe following reports for the month of' June, 1951 were l,resented: Fire Chief Librarian Sanitary Insrector Sewage Plant Of era to I' I and the reIort of the Director of Finance for the month of' May. It was moved by Commissioner Healy, seconded by Commissioner Secor, that the relorts be accel.ted and ordered filed and the motion wa.s ca.rried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Secor and Commissioner Healy; those voting NJ, none. Bids for West Sanitary Trunk Sewer The MRnaber stated that detailed :plans and sr,ecifications for the West Sanltar;y Trunk Sewer will be rGceived from Morrison-Maierle, Inc. within a few days, and in order to prevent delay, call for bids for constructian of tlcis r roject should be advertised immediately. It was moved by Commissioner Secor, ~J') t)t) 34 secomied by COHLllissioner Healy, thet the Clerk of the City Commission be authorized to advertise for bids to be olened July 25, 1951 for the construction of the West Sanitary Trunk Sewer and the m.otion was carried by the iollowing Aye and No vote: those votini; Aye being J./;ayor Lowe, Corlilllissioner Secor and Commissi oner Healy; those voting No, :lOne. Furchase of Rings and Covers for West Sanitary Trunk Sewer The Kena;:;er reIorted it would be necessary to furchase twenty-nine marchole rines and covers to De used in the construction of the West Sani1"ary Trunk Sewer. Cancellation of Armory Lease The Manager relorted tlwt Adjutant GeILera} EitcLell of State of Montana and Mr. Clark, Chairman of the Armory fonrd have verbally abreed to the cancella tion of the lesee to the City of Bozeman for Lhe Armol'Y IuUdin,; and the sub-leasing of the Armory Lo the Natione1l Guard. Resolution of Intention to Vacate Oak Street The Manager stated the City Attorney as inst,ructed hps l.rel-ared the resolution of intention to vacate a [ortion of' Oak Street as letitioned by the Montana F'lour Mills.
