Message: I worked in the yard for the last few days. We have dandelions. What we don't have is
bees. One domestic honey bee in 4 days. We should have hundreds. The tiny native bees have
been out for a month, but they weren't evident. Please examine Bozeman's policies about using
pesticides. I suspect that, as everywhere else in the US, we're poisoning our pollinators out of
existence when we poison the parks, soccer fields, and lawns. A few dandelions are a small price
to pay for pollinators. You have a pollinator garden near the Langor Gardens. No bees there
either all of last summer. We need you to act and without dithering. Time to grow up and accept
the world as it is, pollinators and all.
