The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in an adjourned regular session in the City Manager's
Office, City Hall Building, Thursday, October 3, 1967 at 2100 o'clock F. M. Present were Mayor Swanson,
Commissioner Erwin, Commissioner Berg, City Manager Henderson, Administrative Assistant Sales, City
Attorney Lovelace, City Engineer Liquin and the Clerk. The following proceedings were had.

Bids for S. I. D.'s
Telegram was read from Nil son-Smi th Construction Company. stating that they decl ined acceptance
of award on their bids on Special Improvement District Nos. 389 and 390. This aotion was based on
qualifications which they had put in their bid of September 30, 1957.
Carl Christopherson, representing Harold Hoskins & Associates, Consulting Engineers on the paving
projects under consideration, stated that detailed tabulation and check of bids received on September
30, 1957 showed that the lowest and best acceptable bids received on the several paving districts were
as follows I

Hoskins & Associates recommend aoceptance of bids on this basis.
It was moved by Commissioner Erwin, seconded by Commissioner Berg, that contracts for construction

in the above listed improvement districts be awarded in accordance with the recommendations of Harold
Hoskins & Associates and the motion oarried by the following Aye and No votel those voting Aye being
Mayor Swanson, Commissioner Erwin and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none.
Sale of Bonds for S. I. D. No. 392
It was moved by Commissioner Berg, seconded by Commissioner Erwin, the t the Clerk of the
Commission be authorized to advertise for bids for the sale of Special Improvement District No. 392
bonds. in the approximate amount of $120,000.00, and the motion was oarried by the following Aye and No
vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Swanson, Commissioner Erwin and Commissioner Berg; those voting
No, none.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by
Commissioner Erwin, seoonded by Commissioner Berg, that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried
by the following Aye and No vote, those voting Aye being Mayor Swanson, Comnissioner Erwin and
Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none.
