Hi City Commissioners,
I'll be honest I am not certain if you are the best resource to share my concerns. If not, I
apologize for the inconvenience.
I wanted to bring to your attention a public safety concern I have regarding the need for more
911 dispatchers. I have a friend who is a dispatcher who has shared with me her work schedule
and lack of dispatchers trained to cover shifts.
It concerns me to think that officers, firefighters and the public may not get the needed support
and/or emergency care because there isn't someone answering their call.
Is it possible for someone, at the city level, to observe and gather more information regarding
the lack of dispatchers?
