Message: As a born and raised Montanan who had dreamed of living in Bozeman since I was a
child and had that dream become a reality four years ago, I can't tell you how thoroughly
disappointed I am with the city planners. Our businesses are beautiful and well-maintained, but
the neighborhoods are growing at a rampant rate. Houses are being stacked on top of one another
and the new growth is looking awful. My Billings family and friends are all commenting about
how unfortunate the new neighborhoods are and how hideous it is making our beautiful city. I
know we are growing at an unprecedented rate, but that DOES NOT give developers the right to
come in and build houses on top of one another, crammed together without yards. THIS IS NOT
THE SOLUTION TO THE GROWTH! The answer isn't just to build and build and build!
Please. We only have one chance to develop our beautiful city correctly. Please stop just
approving anyone who has money in their hands. We need to slow this down before it is too late.
