Charge for Additional Snow Removal The Manager reported that cost of snow removal from city streets will averaEe approximately ~2.50 per truck load of snow. At service stations, Used Car lots and sjmilar places where snow is cleared from the property and pushed into the street, there is an average of at least one additional load of snow to be hauled each time snow is hauled from the street adjacent to each such property. It was the opinion of the Commission that owners should either pay for the extra cost to the City caused by the additional hauling of snow which has been moved onto the streets from these provate properties or that moving of such snow from private property onto streets should be prohibited. The Manager was instructed to submit a proposal to owners or operators of properties where these snow conditions exist under which such owners or operators would agree to pay the City the sum of $2.50 for each time the City removes snow by hauling from each 1 street on which their respective properties abut.
