HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-11-17 Public Comment - P. Schirmer - Black OliveThere is no way in todays world, and in todays Bozeman with all its' different activities, that every one in that apartment builing will not own a car. Two people, even a couple, would have two different activities on the same evening. Need to go fishing, down Bear Trap Canyon? Try Uber on that. Biking in the winter; one needs courage. A lot of courage. Evening walking is problematic. For instance, ice. Shoveling ordinance is not enforced. And ride share? How about everybody needing a car at the same time. That's okay because I have a car parked on the street, in front of someones' house. In my parents day one car was sufficient. We are now in 2017, and beyond. And think of store owners. People will not be able to shop without easy available parking. No one wants to walk five blocks, after parking in front of someones' house. Parking downtown is an issue. And please don't knock buildings down to build another parking garage. That's been given away to Element, etc so they don't have to contend with parking, and its' cost. Only helps THEIR bottom line Paul Schirmer
