The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall
Building, Wednesday afternoon, June 1, 1955 at 1:00 0'c10ok P. M. Present were Mayor Lowe,
Commissioner Erwin, Commissioner Swanson, City Manager Henderson, City Attorney Lovelaoe and the
Clerk, when the following prooeedings were hada
Minutes of the last session were read, and it was moved by Commissioner Erwin, seconded by I
Commissioner Swanson, that the minutes be apI>roved as read, and the motion was carried by the follow-
ing Aye and No votea those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commiss ioner Erwin, Conunissioner Swanson;
those voting N06 none.
Bids for S. I. D. No. 382
This being the time and place set for the opening of bids for the construction of Special
Improvement District No. 382, paving on North Willson from Villard to Short Street. the affidavit of
publioation of "the Notioe to Bidders was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Erwin, seoonded by
Commissioner Swanson, that the bids be opened and read, and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Erwin, Commissioner Swanson; those
voting No, none.
The bid of Haggerty-Messmer Company being the only bid filed was opened and read and found to be
as followSI
Road Mix (Alternate No.1) - - $11,997.90
Hot-Plant Mix (Alternate 3) - - 16,250.40
The bid was referred to the City Engineer for ohecking and recommendations.

The Manager stated that he has audited these claims and finds them to be true and lawful claims
against the City of Bozeman, and recommends that warrants be issued for their payment. After examina-
tion of the claims in detail and checking against the claim register by the City Commission, it was
moved by Cormnissioner Erwin, seconded by Commissioner Swanson. that the claims be approved and warrants
drawn for their payment, and the motion was oarried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting I
Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Erwin. Commissioner Swanson) those voting No, none.

The following reports for the month of May, 1955 were presented:

It was moved by Commissioner Swanson. seconded by Commissioner Erwin, that the reports be
accepted and ordered filed, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No votel those voting

Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by
Commissioner Swanson, seconded by Commissioner Erwin, that the meeting adjourn and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No votez those voting Aye being Mayor Lowe, Commissioner Erwin,
