Dear City Commissioners,
I wanted to just briefly weigh in on the Black/Olive project. I am a downtown business
owner and my concern about the project is the parking impact it will have on
downtown. As it is, we hear from employees and customers a lot that parking
downtown is really difficult. We employ about 25 staff that need parking downtown. It
doesn’t make sense to me to build a project that has less parking spaces than bed
rooms. The ride share idea is cool but in my opinion won’t be successful.
