Message: I am opposed to the Black Olive development on many fronts. A primary concern is
the size of the proposed development, particularly in light of limited parking. There is no
evidence that higher density housing will decrease the need for cars. Mass transit and options for
bike travel are limited and until provisions are made for these kind of alternatives, developments
like this will overwhelm neighborhoods. I don't believe the BO development will affect my
situation, as I am not located close enough to feel the parking crunch. However, I am very
concerned about the precedent setting nature of this proposal
