SUBJECT: Second and Final Addendum to Professional Services Agreement with Sprout, Inc. for City median and grounds maintenance services for 2017.
MEETING DATE: April 10, 2017
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to sign the Second Addendum to the
Professional Services Agreement with Sprout, Inc. for median and grounds maintenance services.
BACKGROUND: The City Commission approved $55,000 in FY17 and $55,000 in FY18 for
median maintenance in the Street Division capital improvement budget (CIP STR30). The scope
of work includes mowing, trimming, weed management/spraying. The request also includes pruning of the medians on N. 7th Avenue.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: There are no known unresolved issues.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the Commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The City Commission approved $55,000 in the FY17 and $55,000 in the
FY18 Capital Improvement Program for these services.

SECOND AND FINAL ADDENDUM TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
THIS SECOND AND FINAL ADDENDUM TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT is made and entered into this J.CJ"h day of M Ybfc L, h , 2017, by and between the
CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, a self governing municipal corporation organized and
existing under its Charter and the laws of the State of Montana, 121 North Rouse Street,
Bozeman, Montana, with a mailing address of PO Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59771, hereinafter
referred to as "City," Sprout, Inc. Land & Hardscaping, hereinafter referred to as "Contractor."
In consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements herein contained, the receipt and
sufficiency whereof being hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1.Extension of Term. Section 30 of the Professional Services Agreement between the City
and Contractor dated April 24, 2015 (the Agreement) for an additional one (1) year period.
This Addendum extends the Agreement for an additional one (1) year period. The
Agreement shall terminate on April 24, 2018.
2.Agreement still valid. All remaining terms and provisions of the Agreement remain valid.
