Message: To: Mayor Carson Taylor And City Commissioners; As long time residents of the
Lindley Pl. neighborhood, we are strongly opposed to Andy Holloran's Black-Olive project. We
wish to preserve and protect the historic integrity of these quiet residential areas. We feel that
erecting, on the proposed site, a structure of this magnitude, looming over quiet historical
neighborhoods would have a devastating and huge negative impact on the surrounding area, as
well as all of downtown. The additional 56 units, combined with clearly, not enough adequate
parking," will compound our already increased traffic and parking issues on Olive St, from S
willson to S Wallace every day, not to mention, special events that take place year round. It will
very likely create a more dangerous environment for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians along
Olive St and intersecting streets. By the way, comparing Black Olive Project to the Federal Bldg,
which sits on a full city block, with generous setbacks and plenty 'O parking for it's employees,
not full time residents, is like comparing Apples to Oranges! Respectfully, Hans "Pete"
