Hello
To whom it may concern.
I just wanted to express my thoughts for the upcoming meeting on Monday concerning the Black and Olive project.
I was born and raised in Bozeman, have a business in downtown Bozeman and also live on east mendenhall
Bozeman.
I am totally for responsible growth in Bozeman but would like to at least give my comments about parking.
It is an issue. Even on the east side where there once was an endless amount of parking is now becoming an issue.
I live in a 12 plex condo unit on east Mendenhall with only 4 of the 12 units sold right now.
Each unit has a garage but each house hold has 2 and 3 cars each. And with 8 more units to be sold it will become
difficult for people to park. There is already an issue with parking and we are not in the busiest part of downtown.
Most family's especially with kids will end up with 3 cars per family.
Then on Monday night and Wednesday night there is no parking aloud in the street at all.
I'm not sure how that will work for Black and Olive if they do not require enough parking spaces per unit.
This is an issue and the neighbor hoods and businesses around Black and Olive will really have a tough time dealing
with this situation. Thank you
