The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission
Room, City Hall Building, Thursday, February 23, 1961 at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Present
were Ma:ror Swanson, Commissioner Staudaher, Comm1ssioner Sedivy, Acting City I,Tanager
I Fryslie and the Clerk.
The following proceedinbs were had:
Minu tea of the last regular session were read snd it vms moved b;{ Commissioner
Staudaher, seconded by Commissioner sedivy, that the minutes be approved as read &nd
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being
Mayor Swanson, Commlssioner Staudaher and Commissioner Sediv:T; t.hose voting No, none.
Peti tion -- Request of Special Improvement District to Pave and Drain a Portion
of the Streets in Royal Vista Addition
A petition to create a special improvement district for dratnage and paving a
portion of the streets in Doyal 'Vista Addition was placed before the COn1.'111ssion.
The City Engineer stated eiehty-two and eight tenths percent (82.8%) of the owners
of the lands within the boundaries of the proposed jmprovement district have sl[Y,ncd
the petition, and pl8DS for the district, 8S petitioned, were in readiness. The
Acting City Manager advlsed the Commisslon a large percentage of the property within
the district is well improved and he was prepared to recomr.1Cnd to the Commission it
instruct the City Attorney to prepaT>e 8. Resolution of Intention to crea te the dis tric t.
It was P'loved by Commissioner SediVY, seconded bj'" Comissioncr Staudaher, tha t the Ci ty

Withdrawal of Proposed Plat -- Graf's ,First Addition
The Act1.ng City Tllfam~p:er advised the Commission the City has on file a letter,
da ted Po bT'1J8 ry 23, 1961, bea ring the s Lma tu re of Eu gene Gra f, Jr. , the platter and
petitioner for the approval of a plAt to have been lmown as Grafls Fir~t Addition
pre pe red to ibcorporate land lying adjacent to the south-east bmmdary of the City
within the City limits, which requests further Commission action on his proposal be
discon tinued and the proposed pla t and other documon ts he has placed in the cus tod 'IT

of the City pertaining to the matter be re~lrnod to him. In order to afford an
opportuni ty to the Commission to consider the reauest, it W8.S deemed advisable to
ta b 1 e the request until M9rch 1, 1961, the nex t regular mee tine; ds. te of the
Corrmission.

There being no fllrther business to come before the Commission at this time,
it was moved by Commissioner 3e<::1'1Y, seconded by Commissioner Staudaher, tha t the
meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote:
