Task Order with Tetra Tech for SVE Modifications Commission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Rick Hixson, City Engineer SUBJECT: Tetra Tech Task Order - Modifications to SVE and Air Sparge Systems, Destruction Testing of the New Flare AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent MEETING DATE: March 27, 2017 RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Acting City Manager to sign the attached Task Order with Tetra Tech for Modifications to SVE and Air Sparge Systems, Destruction Testing of the New Flare. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this task order is to authorize a period of testing and optimization of the SVE/Air Sparge Systems recently installed at the landfill as well as to perform a stack emissions test of the new flare as required by the DEQ. UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None. FISCAL EFFECTS: The total cost of these services is $50,900.00, which will be paid for with funds from the SRF loan. ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
